WELLINGTON CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

We are very honoured to be part of the design team for this project on behalf of the benefactor, Mark Dunajtschik. The building itself is a new four storey Children’s Hospital for Wellington Regional Hospital to include outpatient services, post-surgical wards, oncology, medical wards, child assessment and staff areas.
The project was a challenging one from a fire engineering perspective due to the vulnerable nature of some patients and changing legislative environment at the time of design.
