Project Details

Hyde Lane is a 12 storey private residential apartment building off Wellington’s Courtenay Place. The Ground Floor includes a pool and gym, plant and retail tenancies.

The development’s location and connection to the historic Courtenay Place precinct required a contemporary blending of the old and the new. The building features a brick facade to the podium levels in keeping with the surrounding buildings, and the upper levels feature a sleek and modern aesthetic.

The efficiency of design, unitised façade and proximity of boundaries presented particular fire engineering challenges. The fire engineering design was developed to maximise glazing for light and harbour views and support build efficiency.
